Bio

Dr. Douglas Glenn is an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology and is affiliated with the Clinical Psychology program. In 2025, he received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, an APA-accredited program jointly sponsored by Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University, and Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his predoctoral internship at the University of Delaware's Center for Counseling and Student Development. Dr. Glenn directs the Substances, Psychosocial Influences, and Risk Investigation Team (SPIRIT) Lab. His research investigates the individual, social, and systemic influences of substance use with a particular focus on alcohol use motives.
